I've been wanting to edit the SRB2 Source Code and it says that I should use C++. What is best for doing something like this?

First of all, do you know what an IDE is? Because if you don't, the road will be pretty long to modifying the SRB2 source.

If you're using C++, (which is lol, because SRB2 was made in C) then use Visual C++. It's windows' official C++ programming IDE, and it's also completely free.

Visual C++ uses something a bit different from regular C++, though, so you'll have to work through that as well.

I'm sorry to say this GoldenSonic I'm I'll try to say it as less mean as possible
You did this yesterday in the chat so you got mIRC without knowing any coding then you practically called yourself a bot scripted because you made an empty bot with no scripts now you think you can edit a source code without knowing any coding sorry to sound harsh I took a year long course on programming and I can also create good websites with Dreamweaver the point is learn the stuff then get the programs to do it.

Yeah, I'm afraid it's be a long road for you, GoldenSonic. However, the best way to start is by learning how to do simple things.

Either way, this is answered, so it should be locked.
